Welcome to Kristiansand Cathedral
Kristiansand Cathedral, an evangelical Lutheran church, is the seat of the Bishop of Agder and Telemark in the Church of Norway. It was designed by architect Henrik Thrap-Meyer in a Neo-Gothic style, and consecrated in 1885. It is the third cathedral built on the same site and one of the largest cathedrals in Norway. Worship services on Sundays and Fridays are open to all. On weekdays, the cathedral is open as a quiet place for worship, prayer and contemplation.
